请问town inspector来查basement的时候会查什么呢？一般是什么程序检查，发permit

的时候会不会要求seller增加通气，比如按个fan之类的。

Permit is to allow you to start the work. CO is to recognize it is a
livable space.
It is common that people do the work without permit and then apply for CO
only when they want to sell the house. In this case, they just need to pay
the fine and get it inspected and become official. But the tricky part is
that, normally inspectors would ask to see the electrical, plumbing, and
structural elements before the wall is cove

其实知道要了permit/CO会涨税的，可是感觉地下室通风实在是太差，
估计seller就是随便装修了一下，什么通风设施都没做，再加上用
oil tank，还有些漏油，所以觉得town里来查一下会让他们做
一下通风。 如果最后town来了只随便罚款就完事，那我们买方
可见惨了，通风没有改善，还要涨税。
