For dependent day care, NO, there is no grace period. All expense has to be
incurred during the plan year, no advance payment either.

发帖数: 1720 | 8 Grace period is the period that the expenses incurred during that time (2 1/2 months after plan year end day) are still eligible for that plan year's reimbursement. There is NO grace period for day care plan.
The last day you can file your reimbursement is called "filing deadline". It just happens that the filing deadline is very close to the health care grace period end.

expenses incurred up to March 15, 2012 can be reimbursed.
Maybe different employee has different rules.
1/2 months after plan year end day) are still eligible for that plan year's
reimbursement. There is NO grace period for day care plan.
It just happens that the filing deadline is very close to the health care
grace period end.
