much recommendation from friends regarding agents, so I went to Redfin
website and saw a few Redfin partner agents for this area. They are all
Americans. I am wondering if anyone here uses buyer agents from Redfin. Are
they reliable? They all seem to have good reviews, and it sounds like they
give commission rebate as well, but that is not most important. If agents
from redfin are good, I will just use them. Thank you for the help. | p****q

you need to do more homework, search for target houses, compare prices etc.
When you tour houses with Redfin, they will send somebody to open doors for
you. When you are ready to buy, then you deal with the "real" agent. you may
or may not meet the real agent that handles your contract.

make an offer, it is experienced agent lead to deal with
the listing agent.
Like any big company, some agents are outstanding, remaining are just so so.

了,再也找不到了.然后我们换了一个traditional的agent再递offer,才发现redfin的
agent居然在listing agent面前造我们的谣,说我们多土多不懂事的给了她一个什么3页
纸的repair list让owner去修!那owner和listing agent当然不愿意把房子卖给我们啊.
太可恶了!
其实吧,redfin带着看房的field agent和最后帮递offer和签约的agent不是一个人,必
然注定你能得到的service是很有限的.首先那么多的field agent水平不一,很难帮你找
到房子的毛病.其次签约agent很可能根本没见过你要买的房子,自然不了解什么样的价
钱是合适的,所以只会push你出高价.还有,签约agent可能会同时处理几十个人的case,
你觉得他/她在你的case上能花多少心思?
所以啊,redfin的agent对没什么经验的first time buyer是完全不靠谱的,不晓得为啥
它这么久了还没倒闭.
