剪草本植物或者很细的树枝(<5mm)，可以用大剪刀(Hedge Shears)，如果剪更粗一点的
树枝(5mm-1cm)的，用Loper；再大的，就得用锯或者斧子了。最便宜的hand/hack saw
大概$10左右，电动的reciprocating saw可以锯更粗一点的灌木；要是锯更大的树枝(>
5cm)到整个树干，你需要chain saw

Set to mow everyday, I set mine from 4 to 8 pm, skip on days when grass is
very wet.
Water every morning from 5 to 6am. (skip on days with at least 1 inch rain)
Above are daily job for the growing season (just set it and forget it)
Get a spreader for fertilizers and chemicals, sign up on scotts website (
they will email when to put down what based on your zip code and grass type)
Follow instructions, too much fertilizers and chemicals can burn the grass.
Below you only need to do a few times per season (once might be enough)
All equipment can be rent for half a day if your lawn is not very big.
Scarifying/dethatching and sweeping/raking (to remove dead grass, leaves,
and other debris, and to prevent tufting)
Rolling, (to encourage tillering (branching of grass plants) and to level
the ground)
Top dressing with sand, soil or other material (this is based on your grass
type and soil condition)
Aeration with plug/core aerator (to relieve compaction of the soil and allow
greater absorption of nutrients), do not use a spike aerator (they not
good)
Over Seeding in the fall (water more frequent for the first 2 weeks)
Last, you might want to do a soil analysis (depending on where you live, you
can get the state university or their extension service to do it for you)

They are strong enough to prune hard branches of trees and shrubs, sometimes
up to two centimetres thick.
There are three blade designs of pruning shears: anvil, bypass and parrot-
beak. Anvil pruners have only one blade which closes onto a flat surface.
They tend to crush the stem, but remain reliable when slightly blunt. Anvil
shears are useful for cutting thick branches. Bypass shears usually work
exactly like a pair of scissors, with two blades passing each other to make
the cut. At least one of the blades will be curved: a convex upper blade
with either a concave or straight lower one. Some bypass designs have only
one blade, the lower jaw being broad (like an anvil) but passing the upper
jaw. Parrot-beak shears consist of two concave passing blades, which trap
the stem between them to make the cut. These are suitable only for narrower
stems.
Loppers are a larger, two-handed, long-handled version for branches thicker
than pruning shears can cut.

shears就是大剪刀，只能剪软一点的东西，我要想用它来剪粗一点的枝子，还得靠加快
速合拢剪子，最终还是力矩不够。pruner和loper的力矩更大一些，可以箭略微粗一点
的东西(1cm左右)

house. Two is mentioned above, the 3rd one is:

We do have to mow a few area in person.
Green area using reel mower.(these take a lot of work everyday)
