发帖数: 399 | 4 Impound就是在银行开个Escrow的账号，把每年的Property Tax和Insurance分成12份，
然后每个月和Mortgage Payment交给银行。
mpound就是需要你提前付一下Property Tax和Insurance，其他的就没有什么不好的了
．只是很多客人不愿意Prepay，更喜欢自己来管理．

发帖数: 399 | 6 可能是impound能够让贷款机构稳定地在每个月收到同样数额的钱，旱涝保收，所以就
让了点利。

expenses such as property taxes and insurance. Lenders like to set up these
impound accounts, as they are then certain that the property taxes and
insurance will be paid on time, as they will be holding the money and paying
these expenses for you.

Impound Account（也叫Escrow Account）是指lender设立的一个account. 贷款人在贷
款时候要先在这个account里放六个月的property tax和insurance. 之后每个月除了付
贷款的本金和利息之外，还要将property tax及home insurance一起支付，以后由
lender替房主将该付的地产税和房屋保险按时上交。

If the cash rebate from lender is more than closing cost, the extra money
will go into your escrow account. Sometimes, the extra money can be as much

Can I cancel the escrow impound?
Depend on the lender, some lenders allow you to cancel, others may not.
