the Boston Marathon bombing incident on Monday, especially the
part about the victims. But earlier today, upon learning that the
killed or injured victims included several students from China, I
finally gave in and checked them out.
So, these are the three innocent by-standers who lost their lives in
the bomb blast: 29-year-old Krystle Campbell, 8-year-old Martin
Richard, and the girl who is suddenly familiar to the entire Chinese
community in the U.S., Lü Lingzi. I know you are not supposed to
judge a book by the cover, but in this case I am willing to go out on
a limb and say that all three of them really look like nice people.
I'm not sure what it is; they just seem to have that look about them. |

died in a terrorist bomb attack on such a crowded occasion, but it
is very difficult to feel that way while you gaze upon the faces of
the victims.
Especially when one of the victims was a fellow student from the
old country.
Especially when another one was just eight years old.
The boy's little sister, also in the picture above, reportedly lost a leg,
while their mother is still fighting for her life after sustaining severe
head trauma. And that, my friends, is the ugliest truth of all about
whatever cause the bomber might think he was fighting for. |

据说新华社的英文通稿提到吕令子家属不愿公开她的姓名，所以英文媒体
昨天还坚守的一段，不过现在也全面失守了。至于国内的网络媒体，从一
开始就给铺天盖地排山倒海地公布了。昨天军版还有人为此抨击英文媒体
厚此薄彼，只报导另外两个死难者的详情，根本没拿中国人当人看。刚才
又去望了一眼，最上面的帖子大标题是：“纽约时报把中国受害者名字抖出
来了！”

也很可怜，他去看他爸爸跑马拉松，他sister失去了一个limb,妈妈有brain surgery，
这个爸爸得多痛苦。
