I want to discern the amorphous and crystally part. I used the RuO4 stained
the thin sections for 30 minutes, but I can't see anything under TEM. Any
suggestions?

you may try other chemicals or prolong the time...

发帖数: 43 | 3 1. search literature to check the time scale for staining. I remember it
should be longer than half hour. What is the concentration of your RuO4?
2. I know some people stain the sample to the hell, then they do microtome
after
stain. The surface will basically be destroyed, but the inside of the sample
will be stained by the diffuse of RuO4.
