>> Hopkins
半年多的inpatient care,两个月oncology,Q2 call (not overnight);
Now I understand Hopkins
Hem/Onc fellow in inpatient Hem/Onc floor = 1st year intern/4th yr med
student.
BMT! That is too much if you don't go to Hematology eventually. The
mortality of BMT (allo) is 15-20% (not from leukemia or MM). I want to say
the workload of allo BMT is >> MICU. I wish

It's not necessary to do 3 month BMT if you final goal is not into that.
That's too much!

Congrats on so many good interviews. John Hopkins has a big name. However,
they want fellows to be on academic. When I interviewed there a year ago,
the PD told us "if you want to do private practice, this is not a place for
you. We prefer single board". If you have decided to do academic after your
training, it is a great place.

Very true! It is actually the case for almost all big names. The goal of all
top programs is to "train future leaders". The "best" program is not
necessarily the best for you.
That being said, a lot of graduates from top academic programs end up in
pratice later and actually it is easy to find job even in pratice because of
the program's reputation.
