matched in. They are required to attend extra lectures (very light) through
residency. BTW, DOs also like to take USMLEs before application to show the
programs that they are 'comparible' to MDs, knowledgewise.
Just my observation. No insider information available. |

发帖数: 2410 | 5 DO 是美国历史上的原因保留下来的，好象和赤脚医生有类似的历史原因，是一种古老
的保留品种，
进了DO 或赤脚，都是进了极具保护色彩的医疗行会，MD 是近代的品种，很长时间的行
情是，
优秀的学生都去 MD，那么剩下的就去DO 或赤脚，如果再不行的，就去牙医了，当然也
有去不了MD，去
牙医的，再差的就去OD了，再差的就去PharmD了，这是这里长大的孩子们的图画，不一
定适合

他MCAT考的不是很高，所以觉得申请medical school不是很有把握。 |
