发帖数: 200 | 1 纯粹探讨技术问题：请问一下双职工有孩子的住院医家庭，家务怎么解决的？我的情况
：家里有一个孩子今年9月上K，好在只有一个孩子，我要去的program是Q4，另外周末
总有一天要去的。老公比较忙，下班后时间也需要一些时间用于工作。老人没可能常住
，也不适应这边的生活。孩子送回去也不是一个option。所以想花钱请人大概是唯一解
决办法了。
听说过第一年下了班累得只能睡觉了，什么也管不了，但是我实在没有这个条件。（说
句大实话，听了好多intern累得不行全靠家里支持的故事，我心里还是很怵，但是再难
也得坚持下去不是，所以现在就得积极想办法）还听说过有的女生两地分居，一边带孩
子一边做住院医的--我不知道她怎么做到的，除了佩服还是佩服。还有夫妻两人都是住
院医的，是怎么办的呢？见过类似我这样情况，请了住家保姆的，但是周末还是觉得很
忙很累以至于家庭不和的。
我是老毕业生，好不容易进去了不想干得不好给踢出去，所以这个问题要计划好处理好
还是很重要的。麻烦前辈们路过的，指点我一下！我觉得家务事和考试和match一样，
效率和方法的问题也很重要。 |

发帖数: 200 | 4 我觉得早晚接送还好吧，尤其是纽约公交好，不会开车的保姆也可以接送啊。就是陪陪
小孩---陪到多晚呢? 孩子放了学到上床睡着觉之前，都要人陪啊。那不是得请住在家
里的了。且不论住房条件有没有一张空的bedroom，住家保姆就得把你家钥匙给别人了
，又得找可靠一点的才行。 |

发帖数: 200 | 5 乖乖虎你说的是理想状态，保姆+加上双方父母亲轮流过来，因为签证的原因。可是很
多人都不行的--父母年纪大了身体不好，很多人也适应不了这边的生活，觉得很寂寞，
受不了。
我这里是想问问双方父母亲来不了，全靠请人的，是怎么办的。

发帖数: 937 | 7 Well, we have two couples doing the same thing: resident couples, 2 kids,
all babies were born during residency. They all survived(graduating)
residency with daycare and no family help. The keys are: to live close to
work and daycare (save time), schedule your calls the way that you won't be
on call the same day, strong kids who don't get sick all the time. I think
the 3rd one is the toughest. Both moms even breastfed their babies till they
turned 1 year old.

孩子看电视，或者老公陪着玩，然后老公给孩子洗澡睡觉。我们没有请保姆，住院医开
始后我妈来过半年。我老公在家远程工作。这是一大好处。我在带孩子方面没有出过力
，孩子生病也没有请过一次假。
我们的同事们也都是把孩子送daycare，有时候请个临时babysitter.还有请parttime
nanny,或者live in nanny.但是请nanny并不能代替所有的工作。Live in nanny价钱大
概1900一个月（纽约）。Nanny要找到好的不容易，我有个朋友三个月换了9个。 |

佳，来了还嫌寂寞常抱怨，还不如请保姆。现在赶紧训练孩子的基本自理能力，比如自
己睡觉，自己洗漱，吃饭等。这样请个day-time 保姆就行了。 |

第一都不知道怎么survive呢。
有成功的前辈指点指点吧。当初想考版的时候有点顾虑说那顾不了娃咋办呢，老公一句
“没事，言教不
如身教”俺就上了，现在知道没那么简单，孩子就是需要花时间的，需要很多很多爱的
。咱只能自己学
着怎么multiple tasking，怎么提高效率，两者兼顾了。
我记得有人告诉我，她把patient notes 拿回家写，同时一边看着孩子写作业。不过，
她是不做饭

time nanny,
听说不容易，所以想早点打听着。也知道nanny 不能代替所有的工作，很担心自己累了
压力大了会变得
cranky，除非对方极度包容，否则很容易引发家庭矛盾。见过这样的例子。

另外，啥叫day-time保姆呀？负责什么呢？白天不是在学校吗？

our program has one parkistanian intern with two kids( one 3y, one 1y old),
her husband is thousands of miles away. she hired one live in nanny for day
time and 6 days per week. She took care of babies at night during the week.
and weekend if she is not oncall. She can do it so I believe u and ur hubby
can do it too:-)

It opens 14 hours a day. The teachers at our daycare are like well-trained
assistants. When they call us for concerns, they always present the baby's
symptoms, temperature and intake/ output, blabla. Because it is so close, we
can even peak on our kids during work if it is not too busy.
For #3: Since we are pediatricians, we can handle most of the commen things
without too much panic, haha.
It's not an easy job to be a good resident and a good parent at the same
time. My intern year was like crazy since I needed to either feed my son(at
home) or pump 2-3 times(during calls) every night. Not too much sleeping
time through the year. It's technically doable, but, not easy at all. Luckly
, my son drew like a weed (knock, knock). So, that's how we survived. Good

发帖数: 200 | 20 好像不能完全copy你们的成功例子，但是这个精神我理解就是：没有过不去的坎儿。累一点，就想办法让自己的潜能多发挥一点。
想想有人帮忙回家什么也不管就是吃饭睡觉的人也觉得很累很累，没有人帮回家做饭家务带孩子的也很累。关键在于让自己调整好，掌握好方法。以前从这个版得到了无数有用的信息，很多人的指点，才一步一步走到今天。以后也要一点一点地学习前辈的经验，让我也能成功地survive下来。
顺便赞一下茁壮成长的住院医宝宝，和事业家庭兼顾的mom doctor！
