ranal insufficiency. It depends on the cause of his renal insufficiency, but
if it's bad enough, he might need supportive dialysis. There is not a magic
drug to treat increased creatinine.

An abnormally high level of Creatinine (Cr) is a sign of renal function
problem. There are many causes, some are primary problem of kidney but
others are often secondary to chronic renal damage, such as high blood
pressure, diabetes....
I would strongly recommend the patient to discuss with a nephrology
specialist. Blindly taking some drugs to "lower the Cr" does not help
solving the underlying problem, and might be dangerous. |
