heart attack. Both disease are caused be thrombi, why treatment is different

to prevent deep venous thrombosis. It takes few days to demonstrate effect.
When Pt has acute chest syndrome, aspirin and heparin are used to stop the
further development of preexisting clots. |

aspirin is the option for acute coronary syndrome, but not for DVT.
Is this caused by the difference of artery vs venous, or pathogenesis of
thrombi (one is platelet mediated vs coagulation factors mediated)?

syndrome,而且是第一时间，Heparin在进行PCI的1时候使用而且是暂时的。 |

Medicine is science, but science is not all medicine is about. We used to
use Coumadin for non A-fib related stroke, but studies show aspirin does
same as Coumadin w/o coumadin's high risk of bleeding. This is so called
evidence based medicine.
Regarding LZ's question, the answer is not in the pharmacology, or pathology
, or biochemistry. Simply go online, google the DVT, found out those
clinical trials and learn what evidence based medicine is.
