可不可以到医院直接和医生要求胃镜检查呢?
医生会同意吗?

很多大病就是这样延误过去的.
如果是国内,要做胃镜医生也会不建议,但是但凡坚持,就没有拒绝的. 况且许多体检中
还包括胃镜...
在美国这边我执意要求做胃镜,医生会执意拒绝吗?

depends on your doctor, it's not a good thing to do but, let's say someone
comes in to the office complaining of abdominal discomfort, stated he lost
about 20 lbs in last 1 month, and now is having trouble swallowing food,
plus he also has strong family history of cancers, i don't know, maybe in
stomach or esophagus, with that presentation, it's pretty hard for the
doctor not to consider endoscopy,

说这种情况一般要等上好几个月才给你处理.如果到私立医院就会很快给你排期做胃镜.
看着老公不舒服的样子,我真是急啊~~
他没有保险,穷学生一个,难道真要自己花几千块钱去单单做个胃镜吗? | f******I

if you are in a big city there might be different GI doctors that some might
have less waiting in the clinic, as long as you have insurance, most of the
doctors would see you, but i don't think private hospitals have shorter
waiting period, as long as it's not an emergency,
while waiting, probably doesn't hurt to try some over the counter either
pepcid or prilosec,
