based on lab result. In theory IgM will be more indicative of current
Mycoplasma pneumonia, and IgG can be present if patient had prior M.
pneumonia.
Nonetheless, if the kid clinically has signs of atypical pneumonia, he
should probably be treated for that. It is not a dangerous treatment any
