Melatonin is taken at night time if you somehow have disrupted circadian
rhythm (sleep wake cycle), for instance you are a shift worker.
Diphenhydramine based sleeping drug. It is actually an anti-histamine that
has a side effect for drowsiness. Because it is such a safe drug, and has
been marketed as OTC sleep aid. However, my experience is that it loses its
effect after a couple of days.
I have three advices for you:
1) occasional sleepless night is not a bit problem, most of us experience
that in life.
2) Improve your sleep hygiene works better than medication in the long run
3) if everything fails, go to see your PCP for better prescription. |

我家婆婆说要求买黑色胶囊的,因为她朋友在吃国内的褪黑素是黑色胶囊的,有效~~
(我给她买的nature bounty的白色片剂她吃了没用)

hot bath
milk
red wine
melatonin
benadryl
and if still not working,i've tried prosom and ambien, both of which work
well but require prescription. i've never had any trouble getting the
prescription from my doctor though.
