前天去看牙，医生给的最保守经济方案是拔一颗，根管一颗，作一个牙冠，两个桥（一
个套在作牙冠那个上边，一个悬在拔掉的位置），再作个金属的爪子抓在另一端。一共
要4000刀。说将来还需要拔掉另一边的智齿，有可能还要根管＋牙冠另一颗牙。看了一
下学校HR推荐的保险，每年最多只cover1500刀，而且我需要作的这些项目都要买保险6
个月之后才生效。
自己google了一些其他保险，看得直眼花也没出所以然来。
求好心人推荐一个，叩谢！！！ |

Consider dental discount plans, delaying treatment to maximize insurance
payoff, and/or negotiating with dentist directly (for portion that is not
covered by insurance).

than $2000.
You need to understand that there is no such a thing as "dental insurance"
in the United States. The so called dental insurance is usually a just
benefit provided by your employer. There is no legitimate dental insurance
that you can purchase on your own. You might find may dental plans on line
but they are almost exclusively scams. |

I thought there were some big heads in this business, too.
This is so sad since each procedure on the dentist's list for us costs
around 1 grand!

Yes. Just do the homework to make sure both are valid (with a given
dentist) and financially worthwhile.

for you. You cannot buy "dental
insurance" on your own from any of this companies. Again, dental insurance (
fundamentally different from
medical insurance) does not exist in the United States.
