Read it again. Overall, the structure, grammar and wording are good, next to
perfection.
Something arguable in the statement is the twice uses of "never ... nor".
People may be assuming the construction works like "neither ... nor", as we
learned from our English textbook at school in our early days; however,
there's no requirement to pair "neither" with "nor" in real life day-to-day
uses of English as a language. The bottom line is, the construction of "
never ... nor" is at least acceptable to a native speaker.

g****r 发帖数: 306 | 8 Maybe the multiple uses of 'but' gives you the impression of being not "
excellent", and somehow it could be even better. I agree with you on this.
However, it's still excellent in overall in terms of language usages.

I******a 发帖数: 3812 | 11 也就是OK吧。一个人写加一个人改,稍微高于老中平均水平也不至于吹成这个样子吧。
或者说,是翻译的还行。他这个写法就是个中译英的译法。

g****r 发帖数: 306 | 17 Are you kidding me? I am clearly saying "big No" to those who are
criticizing Guagua for his English writing.
Actions always speak louder than words. For those of you who think it is not
good or you could otherwise do a better job, take your pen, start to write
something, post it here and let us critique it. Or send the full text to a
professor or a colleague of native speaker and solicit opinion on the
statement from them.
