Study: Racism May Accelerate Aging In African-American Men
COLLEGE PARK, Md. (CBSDC) – Accelerated aging and a greater likelihood of
suffering from an age-related illness at a younger age are two consequences
being linked to African-American men who have experienced high-levels of
racism throughout their lives.
“We examined a biomarker of systemic aging, known as leukocyte telomere
length,” Dr. David H. Chae, assistant professor of epidemiology at the
University of Maryland School of Public Health and the study’s lead
investigator, said in a statement. |

都是钱，现在很多人是为了funding搞研究，而不是为了研究找funding。这类打着反
racism名义推行racism的课题基金有不少，NIH尤其是。

Laughable. What has more impact on black men? Alleged white racism? Or:
being born to a single mom with an absent father? Growing up in drug
infested neighborhoods? Receiving little support from a distant mom and
being raised by grandparent? Joining gangs? Being educated in publicly
funded schools that teach them nothing and tries their best to prevent them
from attending a better school through vouchers? Prisons? Life of Crime?
Lifetime of government handouts with nothing expect in return to improve
self-worth and a sense of community contribution? And let's for a moment
accept the premise of racist America. What about Affirmative Action programs
in jobs, education, etc? I would think that makes up for any racist
experiences these men might have experienced. The "scientists" who conducted
this research have their heads so far up their butts I wonder if they were
all proctologists.
