Health Insurance Companies Seek Big Rate Increases for 2016
WASHINGTON — Health insurance companies around the country are seeking rate
increases of 20 percent to 40 percent or more, saying their new customers
under the Affordable Care Act turned out to be sicker than expected. Federal
officials say they are determined to see that the requests are scaled back.
Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans — market leaders in many states — are
seeking rate increases that average 23 percent in Illinois, 25 percent in
North Carolina, 31 percent in Oklahoma, 36 percent in Tennessee and 54
percent in Minnesota, according to documents posted online by the federal
government and state insurance commissioners and interviews with insurance
executives.
不知道这个increase是针对obamacare的人群还是普通工薪层。我们公司就是BCBS，这
个涨的也太多了吧。
Obama声称每个州的官员会严格审核，审核之后说不定价格还能降。尼玛这是扯淡的社
会主义思维好吧。
又看了一下评论，特别是NYT pick的评论：左派群众真的很天真：他们大多数认为这是
因为第一年好多过去没保险的人看病了，以后会变好；大多数人认为是因为这个税法还
不够共产主义，目标应该是所有人用一种政府保险，把保险公司给排除掉；最多的人认
为是保险公司拿太多了。尼玛政府的效率是私营公司的百分之一就不错了。Colorado修
一个退伍军人医院，超期n年，多花了四倍的钱(17.3亿美元）还没修好，就这样还相信
