Most ortho procedures are not covered under a dental plan (or only up to 50%
) per an individual above 19 years of age. As a result, from a financial
point of view, you could go to any orthodontists in town.
The best course of action is to seek a recommendation from your family
dentist. He/She would have your best interests at heart and that would also
facilitate any routine dental work in the future.

The problem is that only a few ortho accept transfer cases.
About my insurance plan, it says anyone above 19 is not covered. But one
ortho called the insurance company and told my wife up to $950 is covered.
I am kind of confused. Anyway, the problem is that only a few accept
transfer cases and they charge as much as a new case. :( |
