时不时就自己power off了，只能拔掉电源再重新插上Modem才能重启。有时候一两个小
时要来个5/6次，有时几天才又一次。打电话给Comcast，测来测去告诉我信号没有问题
（能连着的时候当然没问题）。
于是从AMEX file了一个extended warranty，三天后case closed，我电话过去问什么
结果，说是我在claim中原本添的信息是厂家warranty 0 day，由于厂家不提供任何
warranty所以他们have nothing to extend。他们能extend的是厂家所提供的warranty。
可恶的Motorola, Modem的warranty不提供给个人用户，只给像comcast这样的公司...
哪位用Motorola SBG6580，有类似的问题吗？知道怎么解决的给个建议，谢谢 |

这说明“ 可恶的Motorola” 是个奇葩而已。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。
建议你给 可恶的Motorola 打电话问问

发帖数: 2604 | 5 我只是想提醒一下大家，如果你买的商品本身不提供任何warranty或者warranty很差，
AMEX提供的延长一年warranty也只是把原厂提供的warranty再延长一年。如果原厂不提
供warranty，或者只对产品的部分部件提供warranty，AMEX也只是延长这部分。
原本我以为不管原厂的warranty policy如何，AMEX都给extra一年full warranty...
我只是把这些我刚了解到的信息和大家分享，供大家参考

发帖数: 2604 | 8 是的，最奇葩的是MOTOROLA，对这种零售的产品不对individual client提供任何
warranty和support。连软件升级都没法自己联网完成，必须由internet service
provider从他那端push。
联系过MOTOROLA了，他们不管让联系Comcast，Comcast根本查不出原因，一个不是他们
卖给用户的硬件问题，他们也不管...
难道以后只能从他们那里租modem?!
在这里发帖我只是纠正一下自己对AMEX Extended warranty的理解，和大家分享

"- Extended Warranty can extend the terms of the original U.S. manufacturer'
s warranty for up to one additional year on eligible purchases with
warranties of 5 years or less, when the eligible purchase is charged to the
Card."
"Extended" means additional time and it is not only "double" warranty, the
part I missed is what it extends -- "terms of the original U.S. manufacturer
's warranty".

看你这么郁闷，
另外给你分享一个很好用的。。。（你偷偷留着就行，也可以给周围朋友买）
亚马逊上面搜索DPC2100R2，然后选used，14.99，用了好几年。。。自己配个无线路由。
适合钓丝用的50M以下的网速，那种超快超贵的网络就不行了。

或者举个例,amex deny一个claim, 原因是他们对这个case提供additional 6month, 现

了原来没有保修的话也不延长。不过怎么会有没有warranty的东西呢？
