assistant也是同时包括，给dealer打电话，他们就能摆平。

如果单独买road hazardous保险也能包括。

以前常得到版上大家的热心解答，刚看到有人问，我刚找他们修过，我来说下流程吧
你先打他们电话，报你的contract号，他们也可以根据你的地址姓名电话找到你的
contract号
然后他们就跟你核实一堆信息，然后就说给你找个人来修，说submit一个working
order，然后这个working order的公司就应该在24小时内联系你。
之后就会有人联系你，跟你约时间
之后就会来修，你要交copay
我想提醒大家的是，warranty条款每家可能会不一样，不同等级的warranty也可能不一
样，像我这样去年刚搬进来下水道就堵了的，我就不知道warranty包这个堵这个事，就
花300自己找人修了，这种warranty即使是cover范围内的，也是不会给你报销的（这是
昨天我打电话以后才知道的），只有你通过他们找的才能只交一个copay。还有，并不
是什么都是只交copay，必须是他们给包的范围内的，修的你才只需要交copay，其他的
好像是给你quote一个价格，修不修由你。

如果厂家warranty超过一年，citi就不管。不过如果买extended warranty，
extended warranty在一年以内，citi也管。
如果买dell只选1年warranty,citi就可以再给一年。
如果买dell选了2年warranty,只有当receipt上面显示manufacturer warranty是1年，
另外extended warranty又有一年，加起来2年，citi才会再给一年的warranty.
我想如果在dell上买笔记本的receipt上面，肯定不会这么分开列的，
如果买了2年或者3年的warranty,肯定receipt上面就显示2年或者三年了，不会分开写。
所以我打算只买最低的一年warranty:No Extended Service, Support or Ltd Warranty |

前几天买车,做了很多功课,照着网上最低价,让车行互相杀.最后一个车行从了,过
去提车.挺高兴,让finance manager忽悠着2000买了个7年70000迈的warranty.回家在版
上请教了一下,网上又查了查,拜读了威力鲈的大作,觉得冤大头了.果然上网+打电话,找
到一个1300$的相同warranty. 我花了那么多时间做功课省200块,一个warranty加倍给
人送过去了.
还好warranty是可以退的,给finance manager打电话,说网上1100$可以买到同样的东西
,要match,或者退掉.他立刻给我打哈哈,说网上那个是骗子,他立刻给VW打电话.隔天,我
再给他打电话,他说他给VW的VP打电话了,那个是骗子,VW正在着手调查.我说我不管,你
match,或者我cancel.他说不能match, 你得带你买车文件来cancel.我20分钟后出现在

才用这个warranty。不过这个其实是忽悠。如果车子稳稳当当开个十年，还是合算的。
不过谁也不说会有个是情况，对吧。
我讲个自己的case。买车时被dealer忽悠了，就是看中这个refund。可是一年后，车子
废了，cancel warranty。 dealer按照里程数或者年数，refund，被扣了500刀。也就
是在原厂的warranty里， 这个新加的warranty是么都没做，从我这里挣了400刀。而我
原本以为是如果不claim，应该会全额返回的（当时dealer就是这么忽悠的，如果在这
个新的warranty没有claim一次，或者有剩余，warranty到期后还可以全额返回）。

2009-07，空调坏；换新的。$2,500

现在要搬家了，去外州，决定先把townhouse出租，过2年左右卖。早知道就早点买home

AMEX提供的延长一年warranty也只是把原厂提供的warranty再延长一年。如果原厂不提
供warranty，或者只对产品的部分部件提供warranty，AMEX也只是延长这部分。
原本我以为不管原厂的warranty policy如何，AMEX都给extra一年full warranty...

warranty (steingold volvo)
这个是swedespeed里大家一般都去买的地方，价格确实比local dealer便宜不少
有几个事项注意一下
1. 一般有$100 deductible，没有deductible的比较贵
2. 这个warranty是volvo的，但是其实是fidelity warranty service提供的，这个在
contract最下面会写着underwritten by fidelity warranty service，但是所有volvo
dealer都hornor这个warranty
3. 8year/100k miles/100 deductible 应该在$3000偏下一点，bumper to bumper
这个保险提供商fidelity warranty我打过一次交道，我的cayenne有一个turbo gasket

多少页等一些相关的信息再下结论不迟，现在怎样猜测都没有证据，
刚才看见白神的一个帖子，里面提到了关于打印机warranty的问题，现将按知道的一些
情况写出来供大家讨论。
关于白神帖子中提到的case，俺就遇见过一次：给某神drop的P2035n，病人说没有
toner，让病人发过来SN不match，之后又给了一个是外箱上的是正确的，但是warranty
也已经过期，俺确信给神医drop的是新的，是没有重新封装过的，肯定不是display重
新装箱的，而且还是drop前7个月买的，按说是不应该过期的，至少应该还有几个月的
warranty的，等病人将打印机退回来后，发现打印机已经打印了900多页纸了，如果是
display的话，怎么也不会用到900多页纸，后来分析病人之前买的打印机的toner快用
光了，所以就evil神医一个，一般来说HP的start toner不是100%的满的，一般在30-50
%左右，但是开始检查toner状态的时候是100%，应该是HP在start toner的芯片上做了

mileage比较高，又是2003年的，所以买不到Volov原厂的extended warranty. 修车的
dealer推荐一个3rd party extended warranty, National Warranty Corp的，好像还
有点儿名。
National Comprehensive的3年/36K miles extended warranty 价格是$2600, $100
deductible. 如果在dealer那里修车，这$100就可以免了。dealer直接跟National
claim，我不用先付钱。据dealer讲，claim还比较容易。我在BBB上查了一下，它的
rate 是 B+.
比较WS的想法是，尽可能在保修期内，换零配件，估计三年后，是再也买不到什么
extended warranty了。
大家觉得，值得买吗？谢谢！！！

州的dealer价格给的合适，但是她说，California department of insurance 规定不
能从外州买warranty。
觉得很奇怪，因为很多人都是从外州买warranty貌似，不知道有这回事么。
另外就是买warranty一定要用他们一个什么key reader读自己的key来确定车的使用状
况。

说贷款利率从1.9降到1.54，每月其实付差不多一样的钱。我一看尼玛要多付6个月啊，
俺又不是鸿博老美。这个warranty总价是$2390，看我不太愿意，他又忽悠说给我员工
价便宜400，还说什么这个warranty只能是给新车的，如果提了车之后再买，就得买旧
车的warranty，会更贵，blahblah...

近dealer也在联系我们续warranty的事，续2年花$2800，请问值得吗？dealer的说法是
，丰田、本田的车可能不需要warranty，保险就够，但奔驰这样的高端奢华车不同，随
便一个part的修理和更换都贵得离谱，warranty是一定要的，否则花费更加大得多！另
外，如果3月到期之前不及时续，以后想续也没机会了。但是老婆说，车的warranty和

急问版上各位高手，本人的奔驰E350是2012年3月的，现在正好5年warranty快到期，最
近dealer也在联系我们续warranty的事，续2年花$2800，请问值得吗？dealer的说法是
，丰田、本田的车可能不需要warranty，保险就够，但奔驰这样的高端奢华车不同，随
便一个part的修理和更换都贵得离谱，warranty是一定要的，否则花费更加大得多！另
外，如果3月到期之前不及时续，以后想续也没机会了。但是老婆说，车的warranty和
房子的warranty一样，都是不必要的，基本用不上还浪费钱，保险就够。所以，请教大
家了，谢谢！ |

以赔的.但是hoem warranty很多scam, 解释权在home warranty,主要是对家里的一些
appliance的维修, 但是那些帮你修,哪些不帮你修,到时候非常磨临两可的,你去search
home warranty的公司,基本都是1,2棵星,就没有什么好公司的. 他们的操做是collect
很多各个地方local的contractor,如果你的东西有问题, 他们就送他们network里面的
contractor去你那里看,$50一次visit,然后确定问题后,要修的话,contractor帮你修,
然后把bill 给home warranty公司. 但是这里面就有很多纠纷, home warranty公司可
以说是你使用不当,或是什么他们不cover的东西导致的问题,他们不cover,你一点办法
都没有.所以我觉得这个产品没有多大用处. |

然后到了10月底11月初，家里装修要换laminate地板，需要把Laminate在家里70F放3天
这个时候我们才第一次开暖气，发现furnace有问题。打开furnace，它是work的，但是
只要温度提高一度（20分钟左右），furnace就自己shut down了。每次只会increase一
度，达不到我们所设置的setpoint。
当时的home inspection是我们buyer的agent的推荐的，但是已经过了3个月，也不知道
找谁负责
于是我的agent说，我的seller帮我们买了home warranty，是American Home Shield
她说这个home warranty超级好的，肯定会帮我们把furnace修好
我满怀信心，11月8日submit了service request。他们在11/13请了一个contract来看
在我看来这个contract其实也不靠铺。第一次去楼下看了furnace，随便弄了一下之后

Mine once had issues because I used a FINE air filter (supposed to be good,
but not suitable for my funace), which blocked the air from flowing efficien
tly. So my furnace ran for a while then shut down because of over-heating pr
otection.
Finally, I bought another filter (larger holes) and it worked ever since.

AMEX給的是extended warranty是"延長原warranty最多1倍或1年(原warranty必須少於5
年)"
而一般Visa、MasterCard、Discover給的是
"延長原warranty最多1倍或1年(原warranty必須少於3年)"
這個5年和3年的差別就很大了
表示最多有機會warranty到6年
所以AMEX的較佳 |

两个月，现在是第五个月。。。找sony修要收200刀，找chase说只给按照卖东西网站
warranty延长两个月，这是正常的吗？感觉被忽悠了。。。我理解的是manufacture
warranty应该是指的是sony给的warranty?明白人能给解释一下吗？谢谢！
如果这么搞，那很多online买的东西都没法享受extended warranty？ |

有人号称从在Canon工作的人那里进机器，然后这个人给开发票，

honor warranty，转卖之后即使在保修期之内，warranty也不能
transfer乐？

then US only, Canada will be Canada only as well and so on - under warranty
service.
2. you must be original owner to submit warranty claim

问下有没有人开BMW的买过EXTENDED WARRANTY？
WARRANTY到6 yr/100k 大概3400刀左右，值吗？ 我是ORIGINAL OWNER，车现在3
年一月新，30K。还有11个月就没WARRANTY了(BMW是4YR/50K WARRANTY) 我每年就开8K到10K的

warranty，有下列些限制：
1. 只保 power-train。
2. Not transferrable。也就是只给第一任车主（车辆过户给配偶和直系亲属除外）。
Hyundai，Kia，Mitsubishi 给 10yr/100,000 miles warrenty，也都是一样的限制条
件。
对于车厂来说，提供更长时间的 warranty 也是要增加成本的。厂家肯定经过详细的统
计分析，发现很高比例的美国人拥有一台车的时间并不长，所以通过设定 10yr 或
lifetime warranty 只给第一任车主，这样实际上对绝大部分卖出去的车来说，厂家并
不需要真正提供这么长时间的 warranty。 |
