是不是说，只要是有 us warranty card，是 “officially imported item”，那么尼
康就会保修，保修期过了也会收费修理。
如果这样的话，不从 Nikon authorized dealer 那里买相机，只要有 us warranty
card 就可以吧？

发帖数: 21830 | 5 一般authotized dealer发货时都要把你相机的序列号，发货日期发给dealer.虽然你的
发票上什么都没有，但dealer那里是有你的序列号和第一次买卖的日期的，这样的
dealer,比如adorama (adorama店里退货从来都要验证序列号）。所以一般情况下只要
第一次买卖的日期不大于warranty,维修时什么证明都不需要。只要告诉名字地址就可
以了。
但二级dealer的货就没法通过这个渠道验证，所以需要fax receipt, 但丫不能以你没
warranty card为理由拒绝保修，因为美国很多州的消费者保护法不允许厂家这么做。
比如很多手表企业虽然有条款说没stamped warranty card就不给修，实际操作上从来
只查序列号。又比如Lenovo，只要你告诉他们你的序列号，人连你这机器是从哪个
dealer什么时候定的都知道。 |

之后到了2011年8月刚过了保修期不久屏幕出了点问题
拿去apple修说是过了保修期要修得花300块，还不如多加点钱换一个
我觉得太不值得就没修回来了
现在想起来amex应该有extended warranty
那就是说应该保修两年才对
不过问题是当初买ipad的那张卡我在11年6月份cancel了
然后在不久后又开了一张一模一样的卡
现在想问下在这种情况下extended warranty还有效吗
虽然买ipad的那张卡我后来cancel了，但是不是只要当时买的时候用的它就应该有

他说非要到IBM的网站查warranty，而S10-2我在Lenovo官网就能查到

现在这个x1yoga自用没多少时间，各种各样的小毛病，比如按键不好使了，或者突然自
己就关机了...尽管还是蛮不错的。
就是想问问值不值得买那个warranty？另外这个amex自身就带着一年的warranty的，是
不是就不用了？真心怕有问题了，没地方去修...多谢！ |

claim court告他们。但是仔细看warranty manual上有这么一句话“Binding
arbitration shall be the sole remedy for resolving disputes for YOU and US
and OUR insurers”。这样的话我还能去法院告他们吗？是不是说签这个warranty合同
的时候就放弃了litigation的权利？
如果不能告，但是我告了，最坏的情况会是什么？ 他们有什么能反告我的吗？还是他
们会用这个arbitation为借口而要求法院不予受理？ |

不仅是factory warranty, 而且加上6year/100kmiles extended warranty。上个月刚
过期，只换了个driver side window regulator. coolant reservoir没有爆，天窗没
有卡住，transmission R gear还work, sub-frame也没有裂（不过这个应该是2001
model前的问题）, VANO也没有噪音， 本来想借着warranty renew一些容易坏的东西呢
，结果如意算盘落空了。如果下个月突然坏个什么就亏大了。 |

项目也缩水了。原来有的 Sprinkler System， 和 冰箱都要额外加钱才可保。房子是
去年买的二手房，有7-8 年房龄了，所以觉得买一个Home Warranty 的保险还是要放心
一点。但为啥保单会涨价呢？
请问各位兄弟姐妹大家都是用的哪些公司的 Home Warranty 呀？保费一般多少呀？我
去年交的３５０一年，今年一下涨到４００了。

I think this is a very good price and would suggest it to someone who is in
the market for an extended warranty. They also have some great deals on Pre

车贷还有$8000多就还清了。原厂的4 year/ 50,000 miles的warranty 我的case估计是
先到4 year。所以现在还剩下2年不到，就过期了。
做了点research，还可以再买2年or 50,000 miles的extension. 根据model不同，价格
在$1,999到$2,999之间。
一只拿不定注意，到底哪一种最好？
是不再买warranty extension，直接裸奔呢？还是再买2年，估计要花$2,500-$3,000左
右 （还没有问dealer）；
还有一个办法是，直接trade in 现在的车作为downpay，然后再买一辆差不多同等价格
的新车，这样每个月的car loan差不多，而且又有了新车的4 year/50,000 miles
warranty. 不过这里又有个问题，这一次是own呢，还是lease呢？
Lease的话，付$2000左右，就可以把车开走，每个月好像也就$200多payment，而且可
以不用担心磨损阿这些；还可以经常开新车 |

所谓保险, 保的是个人不能承受之风险。通过预缴保费, 把个人不能承受的潜在损失转
嫁到保险公司那里。
如标题所述, 仅从经济上考虑, 对任何车而言, Extended warranty 和全保(collision
, comprehensive)都是没必要购买的。其中全保需要假设车子没有贷款。但必须注明,
有几种特殊情形的人除外
1. 消费意识比较超前, 缺少应急资金的人群。上万块的车撞坏了, 急着修车, 没有应
急资金怎么办? 这种情况下还是可以考虑买全保的。
2. Risk averse的,不买保险睡不好觉的人, 或者扩大一点所有喜欢花钱图省心的人群
。俺就要peace of mind,出了事就让保险公司去处理, 买个保险不就一两千块钱吗? 那
就买吧。

我觉得extended warranty 可有可无
如果已经修过不少次，最好还是买一个，这种warranty一般都是打折的，版里最低见过
3折多的，1700降到600，一般也能到半折，折扣比较大的话还是挺划算的 |
