He said he met with Fenves and Perrin overnight Friday and was "very
impressed with their unified vision and commitment to football."
2014 Herman, 39, says the UH job is one that he has "admired from afar&
#34; ever since he was the offensive coordinator at Rice from 2007-08.
Yet, he said, the job had to be the "right fit" for his first head
coaching position.
"This is a dream come true," Herman said. "Where can I go that
is the right fit, what I believe in and is set up to win? All the laser
