我们也在努力找邻居帮忙, 但是目前为止没有找到.我们会在library贴广告问问.
我看了教育部关于校车的基本问答. 我们这种情况要求subscription based的busing
service是完全合理的.

还有不同的Committee,你可以找对应的Committee的成员。印象里2mile不是硬性的规定
，如果可以证明上学的路不适合孩子步行上学，也可以要求bus服务的。你可以试试
County的教育局，反正没坏处。 |

Due to the distance to the school, no school bus. That's the firm rule and
you cannot changes. But, since you mentioned between your house and the
school, there is a section no "walkway" and therefore not safe for children
to walk, you can bring this to the Township "court" to suit the Township.
The court will make an Order to Township to construct the walkway and make
it safe.
In USA, children safety is first. The court cannot change the rule about the
Bus route and stops (need voting), but the court will gladly help you to
order the Township to improve the road condition.

Unless the child is handicap, that has another law for it -- Township send
special bus to pick up handicapped children, not the general bus.

定要提供transportation service,少于2 Miles的情况是各个学区自己灵活掌握.一般
而言，只要Bus上还有空位，住址又在已有Bus路线上，交钱就可以坐校车。LZ也没解释
为什么他们家的请求被拒绝了，很奇怪。

话说回来,真让老人步行2mile去接小孩也太远了.
你这个比较难办,我也因为校车的事跟学校交涉过,也是不行,学校的理由是不能从家长
的方便与否考虑决定校车路线.
