been there before. Someone said I could just take a train to DC? Is it a
good way to get there and come back to NYC? If not, any suggestions? I would
assume that at least I can rent a car from JFK, and drive it to DC?

JFK到Penn Station可以坐地铁，也可以坐出租车。看你budget。
还有一个选择，参加华人两天一夜DC团。住宿巴士都包了。一个人95刀，买二送一。 |

If so, driving would be good and you can get to more places other than the m
all area.
If you plan for a one day trip, take the train and you can save more energy
for the tour itself.
Bus is cheap. But not comfortable. And I suppose money is not your top conce
rn.

appreciate it if you can provide more info about how to find the 华人两天一
夜DC团 (a website / a phone number, etc?) Please recommend a reputed company
and I don't mind if it means I have to pay a small premium.

want to let it spoil my fun.
I do plan to stay one night; it's about 4 hour drive one way? Just confirm
JFK has rental car companies, right?

The Chinatown tour could be another reasonable option, all depending on how
you can handle the bus seat. As I have been spending a lot of time on such
buses what I really hate, my suggestion is biased in this case:)

it's not too safe), dirty and cheap restaurants / hotels they bring you to
without choice, and nasty service. So it's interesting that you just
complain about the bus seat. Is that really that bad that one could bear
sitting on it for just a few hours? You got me curious about this now :-)

g really wrong. But you do constantly feel the very limited leg room and hip
space, for hours...

and will call them to find out the details.
Not sure how they make a profit though? $95 for bus and hotel? and $10 for
one-day NYC tour? Hope it's not a terribly crappy bus (or bus seats :-) and
bug-filled hotel beds :-)

发帖数: 18037 | 14 Bus is fine, not crappy. It's just like any other buses.
Hotel is not shabby, either. Last time when my friends went they stayed at
a brand new Comfort Inn or Hampton Inn (can't remember which of these 2) so
it wasn't bad at all. Food is not included in the $95 so there's no need
to worry about the quality. Tips are all extra. Also they might stop by
Baltimore and if you want to go for a boat ride that's also out-of-pocket.
All in all though, it ain't that bad. Guess they make money by volume.
