If you are making $50k per year, you are making more than 50% of the
taxpayers in the US who file tax reports. Remember, there are still lot of
people who don't need to file tax reports. That means you make well above
average Americans if you make $50k per year.

especially in areas where most chinese live, the medians in most cases are
higher than $100K..
but sure, if you factor south Bronx or East New York, the median goes way
down..
