My two-year-old toddler boy is going to an American owned day care at the
end of this month. His day care asked us to drop him off on the first day
with a bathing suit on, and bring an extra labelded swimsuit.
What exactly is bathing suit? I googled it and looks like bathing suit is
the same as swimsuit? Can anyone let me know. I am really confused...

swimming suits一般泛指女性泳衣，bathing suits男女通用。
