PROGRESS CONTINUES
HLG expects that the Senate will introduce a revised CIR in the very near
term. It is expected that the revised CIR will include the same Schedule A
exemption that the Senate passed in the Spring of 2006. The revived CIR
could be acted on in the next few weeks or drag on indefinitely.
Therefore there remains an active push for a more immediate retrogression
