发帖数: 94 | 1 I am still waiting for the result. It is a long and painful week.
Two managers interviewed me, one is the UR group manger, and another is
medical group leader, both are capable and friendly. The interview included
two parts, the first part was normal RN interview, by asking questions about
working experience, contributions, how to handle pressure/stress, time
management, career path, and motivation, and I did very well.
The disaster started from the second part, which were utilization review
questions by real cases, I remember one is Dr. ordered 6 weeks
hospitalization, however insurance only covered 2 weeks, what the RN will do
. I am not sure the right answer, and answered by my general nursing
experience, assess, check hs , call Dr. , negotiation, and recheck progress.
Another is the pt have multiple injure with problems to cover medical bill,
what information and assists you will use. I really no any clue, I only
mentioned social workers, and said: “I am no clue at this time.”
I think I failed the interview b/c I am short of case management experience.
Also I mentioned in the first part, I am new, and need time to learn and
gain experience.
I called the HR on Thursday, because the managers told me they will make
decision this week. I desire this job, b/c this company sponsored H1B for
other category job. The weird is they still let me wait, and my case still
on “decision making”, which is not a good sign for waiting over one week.
By my experience, the nurse job offered quickly.
Suggestion: I believe they care about my Master degree of HSA; my nursing
background is very weak for this position. I am exploring the way to combine
HSA and nursing. Please suggest.

month. I had an interview in a hospital before on a Friday, the interview
was pleasant and the manager said she would make the decision no later than
next monday. OK, I waited for one week, no response. I was in desair. One
month past, I almost forgot it and decided to move on. I got a phone call
from the hospital one day, they gave me the offer. |

想在感恩节前招到人。LD说她最晚元月份才能开始上班。感恩节后HR和护士头又和我LD
通了电话，10月底到11月底期间email了三次问我LD会哪些不会哪些。然后11月底就给
offer了。元月初上班，先两周的岗前培训，每周将近30几小时岗前培训，算工资的。
后来人家说LD的推荐信实在是太好了，所以就没有on site面试,并把这个位置给LD留了
下来。
LD是10年夏天毕业的BSN,听她说她们班上还有近1／5的人没有找到工作。当然这其中包
括有的压根就不想上班，有的在家生孩子坐家庭主妇的。

now except crossing my fingers and moving on. I believe your LD is
outstanding, that the reason they hire him/her. Nobody asked my reference
letter except my nurse extern job. Usually, nurse managers interview first
and then check the reference.
What kind nurse your LD works as? I am looking for a case management nurse
position in order get H1B visa. Any one knows this here?
