each group depending on your background, that won't be decided until you
will get in for new hire employee training (regardless what position you
applied).
If you have any requirement, it is a wise way to bring it up early during
interview, such as: do you prefer a PHD to be your group leader? ...etc. |

SMG 管销售和市场，另外Intel Lab 搞研究。 IAG下面几万人，有DCG,VCG,UMG,PCCG,
DHG, 等等的G。 这每个G都是一个中大规模的公司，各有各的产品。 组织关系错综复
杂，而且千变万化。半年一小变，一年一大变。 说不定哪天早上醒来，你所在的组就
不存在了。 哪个组都是闲的人闲死，忙的人忙死，看你的工作性质了。忙了说明你工
作重要，真让你闲下来你自己还不放心呢。不过你可以在Intel内部跳来跳去，理论上
在一个组呆一年就可以跳。所以跟所有人搞好关系很重要，风水轮流转，指不定哪天你

about it. Advice for you... you really needs to adapt into Intel
culture and be proactive; otherwise this company may not be right for
you.
Everyone is encouraged to be open, direct, work as a team and have

is worth it to waste that much time trying to "protect" ourselves in Intel,
it is so much easier to find a new job and move on with our life, other
than holding on to Intel. The tone in the link makes it sounds like we do
not have any choice other than Intel, which is not true. Just my two cents.

发帖数: 781 | 29 It is better to ask for area manager instead of group leader. In D1C, most
of group leader are either master or bachelor degree, in D1D or PTD, might
be more PhD as group leader, You will make future your life misarable by
asking a non-PHD group leader a PHD level questions. :-) |
