Lassen peak has 88" of snow pack on 8250' as of today.
Southwest Entrance (6700 feet) has 96" as of May 29th.

Given the thick snow pack this year, I felt I have to ski somewhere this
weekend. It is hard to find partner to do this by short notice so I went to
Mt Shasta by myself.
Sat 1p.m.
I have 3 things to be done in town.
I failed to get BD Whippethttp://www.blackdiamondequipment.com/en-us/shop/ski/ski-poles/whippet-self-arrest-pole in either 5th season nor Shasta base camp.
I got some ear plugs at Rite-Aid and had a good lunch at Strings Ita
