I think so. It is pretty close to Drexel Campus and is about 10 minute
walk from CHOP. I would say if you do not care about rent, it is a good
place to live.
Still, no matter how safe it is, West Philadelphia is West Philadelphia.
Do not expect too much if you come from an extremely safe rural region.
