现在国内住院，恢复好像还好，在想下周出院。
现在的药：
IV: Edaravone, SODIUM OZAGREL, 舒血宁(这个没找到英文名。银杏叶提取物。)
Oral: Asprin, Oxiracetam,LOVASTATIN,Paroxetine,Amlodipine(Norvasc),Deanxit。
谁能帮我看看有没有什么不妥？倒不是不信任医生。问问放心一点。我自己才DPH-2，
还没学到这些。

wrong I might say...
- I have not heard of edaravone,ozagrel, oxiracetam, and deanxit, and I
wonder if they're available in the U.S.
- Aspirin is just for his heart and anticoagulation reasons
- Lovastatin is for lowering his cholesterol, assuming his lipid panel is
not wihin normal limits right now
- Paroxetine can be used to treat a variety of disorders, such as major
depressive disorder, panic disorder, GAD, PTSD, etc.

TIA is usually warning signs of stroke, and usually leave no neurological
deficit. the main thing to do is management of the risk factors, including
high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, any heart problems, etc.
looks like lovastatin, amlodipine are on board for cholesterol and BP.
aspirin is on board for anti-platelet. But choice of drug really depends on
patient history. does he has any kind of heart problem? such as Afib? Heart
failure?

父亲血压在此之前一直还正常，当然也有一阵子不量了。生病当天156/96。
我也觉得Paroxetine这东西有点奇怪，查来查去都是个anti-depressant...
咳，你说得没错，还是得劝他注意锻炼和健康饮食。

没有已知的heart problem。高血脂一直有。除此之外基本还比较健康......这次是把
我们吓坏了。

cuz every drug comes with its adverse drug reactions. Maybe have your family
ask the doctor why they put him on it. If there is no clear indication for
paroxetine, then my suggestion is to take off that drug.

有可能开的.但是我从来都不believe in 任何精神方面的药,我觉得是越吃越有问题的.

发帖数: 1009 | 13 Paroxetine has anticholinergic side effects, so I avoided recommending it in
our geriatric patients at the hospitals I did my rotations at.
We usually just tried ambien and even trazodone or xanax qhs to help the
elderly sleep.
But maybe paroxetine is used for other reasons in China? That I just have no
ideas.
