120G agility 2 was in my shopping cart on the way to submit order. Then I
went off to do research of the differences between Agility and Vertex.
I finally decide to stick with Vertex.
Now, most of the Agility 2 are OOS. |

technically, "how many IOP/s the drive can handle", "Agility 2 is
artificially limited to 10,000 iops, whereas Vertex is rated to 50,000"

Vertex from my research. There maybe some long term advantages on Vertex's
side because of its higher IOP rate.
I jumped newegg Vertex2 120G but got canceled.
MC is not selling any Vertex line...
If you measure in terms of Gb/$, 90G 120G 60G are approx. the same.
32G is too small for me even as a system drive. I prefer at least 60G.
Idealy, I would like around $100 for Vertex 2 60G as sys drive and buy one
more if price dr

under OCZ brand, I won't pick anything otherthan agility and vertex.
for sys drive, all I want is speed. I wont recommend an entry-lvl SSD. I
would rather get 2 Samsung F3 or WD black to raid 0 if I cant get my hands
on Vertex/Agility/Intel X25m

发帖数: 25662 | 13 oh, I thought it is vertex 2, my bad. Meriline used to have a 120G vertex 2
on sale. I took it from granted that this is also Vertex 2 but half the size.
I dont know exactly the difference between Gen1 and Gen2.
I prefer 2, write speed is significant slower than Vertex 2 based on data
sheet.
If you ahven't ordered, pass ba.
