Secret about Rolleiflex 2.8D and 2.8E / E2 / E3 have and what 2.8A, 2.8B, 2.
8C and even 2.8F do not have is the EVS system. The "secret" button in the c
enter of the aperture control wheel can be pressed and turned to couple or u
ncouple the EVS system. EVS system allows one fixed EV value with correspond
ing shutter speed and aperture combination. The EV value is read off from th
e center pointer of the shutter speed knob.
There is no quick release catch for the waist level hood. Removable hood fea
ture available only from model 2.8 E2 onward. Similarly, the classic Rollei
F&H logo tag at the centre of the top hood also available from model 2.8 E2
onward.
