发帖数: 653 | 6 Is the relationship between postdoc and pi in national lab similar to that
in university? How much independent in national lab? I do not like the
relationship in univ.as PI has so much power. e.g can the postdoc initiate a
new project in national lab? Dose postdoc has his owe budget?
The pi interviewed me just become technical staff? How much influence could
he has in the department in keeping me after postdoc?
If any one happen to know, I appreciate his answer. |

做自己的project，我好像还沒聴說過。
五年以後基本都得走吧，留下來的可能性很小很小，有的所基本不能轉h1b 了。即使轉
了h1b， nih 也有一個八年的限制，postdoc呆八年必需走
