s******6 发帖数: 1 | 1 The Quantitative Plant Science Initiative (QPSI) research program at
Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to
systematically investigate bioenergy crop resilience to micronutrient
stresses (e.g. Zn and Fe) and characterize major players involved in
chloroplast metal trafficking.
QPSI is a new Science Focus Area (SFA) program funded by the U.S. Department
of Energy (DOE). SFA programs form the core investments DOE-BER (Biological
and Environmental Research) makes into scientific programs. Being a brand
new SFA, we have stable and enduring funding to support postdocs. For more
information about QPSI, please visit: https://www.bnl.gov/newsroom/news.php?
a=117271.
Candidates with experience in plant biology, systems biology (e.g. RNA-seq,
omics) and/or molecular biology are encouraged to apply. The successful
candidate will be working directly with QPSI science lead for functional
genomics and collaborating with other PIs in the QPSI team. The successful
candidate will also have the opportunity to develop his/her own projects.
BNL is located on Long Island, New York and is approximately 60 miles east
of New York City. It is a great place to live and work. To apply, please
submit your cover letter, curriculum vitae and contact information of three
referees via the link:
