Fixed Income Java Developer
We require a strong Java Developer with 5-8 years of experience, with a high
level of financial expertise and the ability to work on various
technologies and projects.
Java Developer
Required:
Computer Science Major.
Expert level Java/OOP.
SQL/Database Design.
Experience in the financial services industry.
Highly Technical with the ability to pick up any project and run with it.
College level math proficiency. This role requires understanding of
financial models and implement them.
5-8 years of experience.
Preferred:
Any reporting packages or BI tools: Jasper Reports, Pentaho, or Crystal
Reports etc.
Fixed Income experience.
Mysql, Sybase or PL/SQL stored procedure experience.
Spring/Hibernate
Java Concurrent package.
Unix development.
GWT/Web Development experience.
Python.
Unit testing/Continuous Integration
Maven.
Role Description:
You will be joining an exciting dynamic development team at a small
prestigious financial services firm. As a member of our team you will have
the opportunities to work on high technology and learn a great deal about
banking, financial markets and asset management. Your first project will be
on our cash management product (one of the highest growing industries today
). The firm’s current concentration is on Fix Income (cash products,
treasuries, AAA bonds), investment in financial institutions and bank
analytics. You will have a critical role on the direction of the business
and its technology
