Gay and Lesbian Advocates and Defenders (GLAD) and with the state of
Massachusetts and found that it is unconstitutional for the U.S. federal
government to refuse to recognize same sex marriages that are validly
entered into in Massachusetts. This is a huge victory but the case, and the
issue of same sex marriage, are far from resolved.
The judge stayed the initial ruling for 14 days, meaning that the ruling

发帖数: 4174 | 2 前面有人好象说过DOMA的这个判决不会马上影响在联邦权益方面具体的执行。但是这篇
文章的意思是，判决14天之内不会生效，14天后，只要OBAMA政府一天不APPEAL，就一
天马上有效。当然OBAMA政府几乎肯定是要APPEAL，而且移民的过程很长，从14天到
APPEAL的时间是不够的。 | m******1
