（1）在国际上首创超声波空化效应（即声化学）处理水的新方法，被国际水处理界公
认为开创了一种新的水处理研究方向，包括我的论文在内，该领域论文被引用次数接近
3万次；
（2）提出并发展了一类新的光谱分析化学理论与方法，该研究于1996年获诺贝尔奖提
名，中国第一项获该奖提名的研究工作；
（3）在国际上发表了第一篇关于声化学反应器理论的论文，对声化学反应器的设计理

Research Area:
Sonoluminescence was developed as new analytical methods in analytical
chemistry and environmental monitoring, this work received Nobel Prize
nomination in 1996 ; Ultrasonic cavitation was developed as a new Advanced
Oxidation Processes (AOPs) in water treatment, which opens a new field of
water treatment in the world. Since 1990, including Liu’s papers, the
citation time of this area nearly had been 30000 times; Some pioneer
research on the theories of sonochemical reactor were studied (e.g. the
abbreviation of sono chemical reactor: sonoreactor was first introduced by
me in 1994) ; The synthesis of ammonia by Sonochemistry was developed. A
model was set up for the floc generation in water coagulation process, a
three centuries problem on how to quantitatively describe the floc
generation in water coagulation process was solved. Present research:
