武汉大学国际交叉学科论坛，旨在聚集海内外不同学术背景的青年科学家和工程师

年龄在40岁以下；具有海外知名大学博士学位，或具有国内博士学位、并在海外工
作2年以上；在自然科学、工程技术、生物医学等领域取得一定成绩或具有发展潜力的
海外优秀青年人才。

1. About the Forum
Wuhan University International Forum for Interdisciplinary Sciences and
Engineering aims to gather worldwide prominent young scholars with
interdisciplinary backgrounds to interact and discuss emerging international
frontiers in science and technology. Striving for the brainstorming and the
construction of a sustainable future, the forum will foster and enhance
cross-disciplinary exchanges and cooperation among the participants in
emerging scientific and technological fields through presentations and
discussions.
2. Requirements for Applicants
The forum is open to overseas researchers (under the age of 40) who have
received a doctoral degree from internationally renowned universities abroad
or received a doctoral degree from domestic universities with 2-year
overseas working experience; Overseas young scholars with good achievements
or potentials for science, engineering, biomedical science and engineering .
3. Deadline for Application
Deadline for on-line application: April 4, 2014.

5. Traveling and Accommodation
The forum’s organizer will provide board and lodging during the forum (free
of charge). All invited young scholars should book and pay for their air-
tickets. Up to 10,000 RMB Yuan international travel reimbursement is
available for invited participants from overseas, and 5,000 RMB Yuan
domestic travel reimbursement available for domestic participants who have
been granted with Young 1000 Talents, NSFC Excellent Young Scientists Fund,
and other outstanding scholars.
