Dear visa officer,
This is XX writing to you with my pleasure to support my mother, Mrs. XXX’s
application for B2 visa.
I’m currently working as a full-time postdoctoral research associate at the
X University. In the spring of 2009 and 2010, my wife and I went back to
China
twice to visit my parents. Although currently we keep in touch via phone or
video chatting every week, I still hope they can come to see our daily lives
in America and experience the customs and cultures here. Since my father is
too busy in his XX business to allow long-time vacation, I only invite my
retired mother this time.
In our plan, my mother will stay in America for 3 months. During her visit,
she will live with my family at the above address for the most time. Besides
, I will take her to some tours around California such as to San Francisco,
San Diego and Las Vegas and so on. Then she will go back to China because my
father’s daily life and business need her to take care of. She can also
share her experience and story here with our other relatives (Most of our
relatives live in the same city as my hometown.
I will cover all her expenses in America, which include international air
tickets, local transportation, accommodations, vocation, medical insurances
and all other related expenses. I believe it would be a wonderful reunion
for us.
I have enclosed the following documents as appropriate: copy of my passport,
visa, green card, driver’s license, employment letter, some bank

have time to visit them this year, I would like to invite them to visit us
