I am almost at the final stage of preparing documents for my parents' visa
interview. Here I have three places I am not sure about and want to ask.
1) Is one invitation letter addressed to visa officer enough? I saw many
versions of checklist either says that one also needs to write a invitation
letter (in chinese) addressed to the parents or the invitation letter
addressed to VO should also have a Chinese version (what is uesd for???).
2) I have a notarized family relationship certificate dated 8 years ago and
I just wonder if my parents needs to go SI FA JU to get a new one?
3) What and where to write on the DS160 confirmation pages?
I know I should write Chinese telegragh code of the name, name in Chinese,
home address. They both have retired so do I need to write company address
etc? Also, where to put those information? Inside the boxed of 'Location
selected' right above the version number '01.02.00'?

1）邀请信写给签证官即可，英文即可。但是最好给你父母一份中文的，让他们准确知
道信的具体内容，这样在回答签证官问题时可以做到准确。
2）一般签证官都不查子女和父母的亲属关系证明，只要你们的姓氏是一样的就好。为
了保险，可以携带户口本原件、照片等。
3）在160确认页上半部分的右边，有一小块空白处，手写信息：中文姓名、姓名电码、
家庭地址，因为你父母已经退休，所以不用填写工作单位。 |
