Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is marriott. I am currently a software engineer at xxxx, Inc. I
would like to invite my mother to visit my family in xxx, xxxx.
It has been almost six years since the last time my mother visited us when I
was still a Ph.D student at the University of xxx. We simply miss each
other so much even with weekly video chat and numerous phone calls. Nothing
really compares to spending quality time together. However, my busy working
schedule keeps me from taking a long enough vacation to visit home.
Therefore, I would like to invite my mother to visit us again and spending
the holiday season with us. In addition, I plan to travel with her to
continue her journey in the US. Last time, we went to major east coast
cities such as New York City and Washington DC, etc. This time, after she
arrives, I will show her the beautiful xxxx area where I am living. I also
plan to take her to Atlanta, Florida, Las Vegas and if times permits, Los
Angels and San Francisco. I will assume full responsibility for all the
related expenses even though she has enough money to support this trip.
My mother plans to stay in the U.S. for 4 to 5 months before returning to
China. She has been living with my elder brother’s family in xxxx, xxxx,
where she has been residing for over thirty-five years. She has built
significant friendship and networking there. Besides, my mother recently
invested a major part of her saving on her two apartments; one of them is
being closing. Furthermore, she has pension, health insurance and other
benefits provided by the government. Therefore, she has to return to China
after this trip, just as last time.
My mother and everyone in my family would greatly appreciate your
considering her application and granting the visa. We look forward to her
