Dear American Consulate in Chengdu, China
I am writing this letter for your consideration of my mother's B2 visa
application. I have got my Ph.D. degree from XX University in 2011, and
currently work as XXX at XXX in Houston, TX. My wife, XXXX, is accompanying
me now with an H-4 status and is taking very good care of our 2 years old
son. Due to my busy schedule, we did not have family reunion for 5 years. I
would like to invite my mother to visit us for about one month. We certainly
would like to sponsor my mother's entire expenses, including travel expense
, living expense and medical cost.
My mother has decent annual incomes in the local area, and she has medical
benefits from government. Just now my grandfather (mother's father) had
his 100-year-old birthday, and he needs my mother's thoughtful care.
Additionally, both my elder sister and brother-in-law are very busy for
their work, and my mother is expected to take care of their 4-year-old
daughter. Furthermore, we recently bought a new apartment in our hometown,
and my mother is busy working on the post-processing and decoration.
My mother's trip to the States will be a temporary family reunion and she
has planned to return to China by Qingming Festival in order to be in
memorial of my father who passed away with the honor of martyr in XXX
Corporation in 2000. My mother is always my model who is so faithful to our
family and my father is my hero who had so loyal wife.
Please do not hesitate to contact with me for any further information to
assist your assessment. Your help in facilitating her applications will be
