In my age group, the qualifying time ranges from 9:03 to 9:58, which amounts to top 5 age group finishers at major ironman races. That's just astonishing. Judging by my splits in my half ironman, to make a full ironman in 10 hours would be like running a BQ marathon after having swum and biked at an equal level of performance!

发帖数: 4931 | 7 Being in New England it is rather difficult and unpleasant to train on the
bike in winter times. Not only that it is very time consuming, I can't do it at rush hour or
in the dark, or in rainy or snowy weather. That leaves very little room.
That's what I like about running. It is pure. You can do it any time,
anywhere, with or without equipment.:)
If I train for a first full ironman the goal will be around 12 hours. The world championship is beyond my imagination right now. I think it's probably
