I had is a piece of crap. This week I bought a new $35 white nike singlet.
Wore it on my 13-mile run today. Brought one water bottle with me, and drank
it all in 8 miles. Felt reasonable cool under the sun. By mile 11 I was hot
and thirsty, facing a mile-long climb. I wanted to see if running shirtless
would help. Surprisingly, I felt hotter after taking my singlet off, and

which is next to my hotel. I'm more worried about the food, not criminals.:)
There are very few people in my field in mexico. This is an international conference though.

Anything less than BQ will be a failure.
There certainly have been people who run the marathon without drinking water. They may either end up dead or hospitalized. I'm not sure what the percentages are.

发帖数: 4931 | 12 Thanks. Most of my runs are done at above 70F in the past few weeks,
including some at 90+F weather. The racing condition will be relatively cool
-- should be around 50 at the start and under 70 by the time I finish. Also I will not need to worry
about humidity, which is good.

发帖数: 4931 | 14 fuel belt is too small, not nearly enough to take you through a long run. If
you run 20 miles in the summer weather expect to bring at least three
bottles of water. I would run loops and put the water bottles somewhere on
the loop.

weight of bottles may have little effect on heavy runner's speed, but it may
affect my speed if I'm doing a tempo. :), that's one reason I don't want to
carry bottles,hehehe
