Yes... well note the specific wording: "runs five miles five days a week (
most recently in the Marine Corps Marathon)" I read that as she ran 5 miles
at the MCM, NOT the full 26.2 miles. So she maybe paced someone for 5 miles,
or maybe ran "bandit" for some of the distance.
It's funny... as a veteran of several marathons* myself, I'm amazed at t |

of now that opinion is out there... This Marine Corp Marathon is funny
business. One of my friend is running it and he is not even American... So I
asked: Did you volunteer in the Marine Corp? The answer it seemed to be, it
is just another marathon in DC... no military credential requirement...

发帖数: 980 | 7 Marine Corp Marathon is the marathon hosted by marine corp, not run by
marines only. Anyone can run it. Marines serve at the start/finish and
water stations.
I am going to run MCM this fall as well as a few others on this board. Watch
out, someone is going to BQ or maybe sub-3 at MCM (of course not me).
I asked: Did you volunteer in the Marine Corp? The answer it seemed to be,
it is just another marathon in DC... no military credential requirement...
