Did a 3.2 mile tempo run (in middle of a 8-mile run) on track. 12 laps in
lane 6. Started at 6:45 pace, hold for 2 miles with 3-3 breathing, then
increased to 6:30 pace with 2-2 breathing for the last mile. HR for the
first 2 miles was 170 then gradually increased to 177. (My max HR is in low
190s.)
Looks like I can definitely run a sub-20 5k in a race.
